About Clare
At 31 years old, Clare has been a dog beautician since 2000. Growing up, she highly enjoyed being around animals, and knew that she wanted to make a career of it. She started out at a dog parlour with a Saturday job, which soon turned into full-time work once she passed her NVQ in Animal Care, and also got trained with City & Guilds. While she enjoyed mobile pet grooming, she missed working in a parlour and that's when she started working at Paws and Claws. She has been working here for 12 years, and is married to Kelly's brother, making her a core member of this family-run business.
Dog rescues
Clare is actively involved in rescuing dogs, and provides them with a comfortable home. She rescued 10 year old Lady and 3 year old Jessie as well as having Louis who was actually ring bearer at Clare's wedding! She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Her family also consists of three dogs, five lizards, two frogs, two terrapins and a tropical fish.
